You will never be like any other person. Deep down you cannot be like that. You will remain the same, but you can use force on yourself so that you will start looking almost like someone else.

Everyone is born with their own unique individuality and each person has a different destiny. To imitate is a crime, it is like being a criminal. If you try to become a Buddha, you can imitate Buddha; You can look like Buddha, you can walk like Buddha, you can talk like him, but you will miss.

You will miss all that he is ready to give you in life. Because Buddha happens only once, nature never repeats itself. God is so creative that he never repeats anything. You cannot find another human being exactly like yourself in the present, in the past or even in the future. This has never happened till date. Being human is not a mechanical process. It's not like Ford's cars, adding parts to which you can produce millions of exactly the same cars. Man has his own soul, he is individual. To imitate is like poison. Never imitate anyone; Otherwise you will become a victim of first order religion, which in itself is not a religion at all.

अनुकरण करना अपराध है*

तुम किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति जैसे कभी न हो सकोगे। अपने गहरे में तुम वैसे हो ही नहीं सकते। तुम वैसे ही बने रहोगे, लेकिन तुम अपने आप पर बल प्रयोग कर सकते हो जिससे तुम लगभग किसी दूसरे जैसे दिखना शुरू हो जाओगे।

प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपनी अनूठी निजता के साथ जन्म लेता है और प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की एक अपनी अलग नियति होती है। अनुकरण करना अपराध है, यह अपराधी होने जैसा है। यदि तुम बुद्ध बनने का प्रयास करते हो, तुम बुद्ध की नकल तो कर सकते हो; बुद्ध जैसे दिखाई भी दे सकते हो, बुद्ध की तरह चल भी सकते हो, उनकी ही तरह बातचीत भी कर सकते हो, लेकिन तुम चूक जाओगे।

तुम जीवन में वह सभी कुछ चूक जाओगे, जो वह तुम्हें देने के लिए तैयार है। क्योंकि बुद्ध केवल एक बार ही होते हैं, प्रकृति कभी अपने आपको दोहराती नहीं है। परमात्मा इतना अधिक सृजनात्मक है कि वह कभी भी किसी चीज को दोहराता नहीं। तुम वर्तमान में, अतीत में अथवा भविष्य में भी ठीक अपने जैसा कोई दूसरा मनुष्य नहीं खोज सकते। ऐसा आज तक कभी हुआ ही नहीं। मनुष्य होना कोई यांत्रिक प्रक्रिया नहीं है। वह फोर्ड की कारों की तरह नहीं है, जिनके पुर्जे जोड़कर तुम ठीक एक जैसी लाखों कारों का उत्पादन कर सको। मनुष्य के पास अपनी आत्मा है, वह वैयक्तिक है। अनुकरण करना विष तुल्य है। कभी किसी का भी अनुकरण करना ही नहीं; अन्यथा तुम पहली कोटि के धर्म का शिकार बन जाओगे, जो अपने आप में किसी भी तरह धर्म है ही नहीं।
